Mounds typically go quiet within 1–2 weeks of broadcast bait application. Spot-treated mounds die faster. Full-colony kill including satellite mounds usually takes 3–4 weeks.
Is fire ant treatment safe for pets and children?
Yes, once dry. Chris uses products labeled for residential lawns at professional rates. Wait 1–2 hours after treatment before letting pets or kids on the lawn.
Will the ants come back?
A professional treatment window typically holds for most of the season. Fire ants can re-invade from neighboring properties, which is why an annual or bi-annual treatment is part of the Rather Green Annual Program.
